Well, until we figure it out together, I suggest we not be too hard on this invasive weed, no matter what they cattlemen say about it destroying range. There is no “range” here. This is not “cattle country.” Wasp country, maybe.
We have such a long journey out of colonial thinking, but, you know, we can start by accepting the ones who live here as bringing gifts.
We can figure out what they are by spending time with them.
That’s how it works.
