Want an Apple? The State of Orcharding in the Okanagan Valley, Part 2

Here’s one.

This is an orchard sprayer filling station in Okanagan Falls. The plywood appears to be so you can get off the tractor without stepping in the guck while going back to fill the sprayer with water from the white pipe in the back and adding whatever guck is in those jugs. The apple, that’s for you. The cat is hunting mice. What’s kind of fun here is that in this whole orchard, everything is dead from weedkiller (that’s probably what’s in those jugs), except that one half row beside the cat. Who knows why. Maybe it was left for him. Hallowe’en is coming, after all.
