This is an example of the “if it comes out of the ground, who am I to say it doesn’t belong there” style of gardening.
Tomatoes hate this approach, but, as you can see, red orach is happy with its companions, the glads and the cosmos.
Not to mention this carrot! I didn’t plant this carrot, but, like the cosmos, it is helping keep the bugs away.
