How could this happen?

Homeless in Vernon

How could this happen, in between a highway bypass, a rail line, and a marsh? Really? Not even under the sheltering limbs of the elm tree a hundred metres away?

When the land, which belongs to all of us by ethics and law, annually generates incredible wealth? This is as much an image of personal poverty as of social poverty. It hurts.

  1. a system where those who live in wealth in the west have about 77 people in slavery in this oil system. a system that produces waste, also sees human as waste, refuse, and all of the waste is in direct contradiction to a tree, to life, so it will avoid such contact, unless the trees are part of that cycle of waste, planted in spaces where they die rather than prosper
