It has been a dry spring. The force of the winds hitting the Coast and Cascade Mountains is creating a stronger than normal mountain of lift to the east. Here’s how it looks here in the North Okanagan, in that lift, as the ghost of the mountains pulls the rain back up into the clouds as soon as it falls.
The sagebrush, as you can see, is not worried.
