One of the cool things of the human mind is that it can concentrate not just on planes and lines but on points within them and the relationships between them. Look, though, how frustrating it is when lines take dominance away from the points and are in focus (while the points are not). Grrr!
In this view, planes are right out of the picture.
Look how much more satisfying it is when the points are in focus and the lines are blurred.
All becomes plane now.
Dimming is OK. Our minds don’t mind layering.
Now the planes, lines and points, with their deeper intersections which lack these definitions, create an upper extension, suggesting expansion into a non-physical realm.
This is how we create past, present and future out of the Earth, which has none.
