Spirits in the Mountain

So, imagine, if your people lived in the same place for ten thousand years. That means that something like 500 generations of children and parents would wake to the same mountain, overlooking the same village. That’s enough time to merge your thinking with it, I’d say. Look what is above the Nez Perce village at the Spalding site. It’s been here since the ice melted. I’ve seen many stories in the rock, but never one in the plants growing from it. Maybe 10,000 years will do that. Sure looks like it. If so, reading the mountain is not to be discredited.ancestor

Maybe it’s time to blend natural history and psychology again.
