Here’s some native orach growing wild on the hill. Later in the year, it will be weed-whacked, as usual. I’m going to collect some seeds.

Here’s some red orach in my garden a month ago, native to Montana. Fighting it out with some California poppies from a few years back.
Colourful place, Montana. Green place, Okanagan.

Orach is related to lamb’s quarters, which I collect and eat like spinach here! Delicious.
