There are thousands of stories in the cliffs of the Wallula Gap, where the Columbia River goes through the eye of a needle. There are hundreds of thousands of stories across he plateau. Only a few dozen are recorded in legend. The rest are there to find. Lewis and Clark never found this country. Not a bit of it. They found rocks. The discovery starts now.
