The New Year Washes Ashore

Well, our future is here now.

That’s the Okanagan Lake shore at Ellison Park. You can see the ground up sand brought in to make a comfy sunbathing beach of it, and, perhaps, you can see the snow in the foreground and the pebbled beach of the original lake, before it was adorned with a strip of California?

A few shovels and buckets and wheelbarrows would take care of this pretty quick, don’t you think?

Let’s keep this image in mind as we open to the year that opens to us. A living world is just one step out from shore. May we be blessed on this journey back to the Earth. And, hey, thanks for keeping me going this long year through. Knowing that you’re here makes my day, every day.
