On the eastern edge of the dry grasslands, the ocean builds a rainforest far, far inland.
It has its treasures. To find them, it’s best to put snowshoes on and take your time.
It is a world of contrast and pattern.
But wait. Could it be?
The Northern Lights, revealed by the bog?
Surely, this is the spirit of the trees.
Obviously, no need to travel to the far north or stomp around at night.
You just need the right lens.
Isn’t that fine!
It pays to go slow.
In the Inland Rainforest.
On a winter’s day.

These are such deeply beautiful images. The slit in the ice/snow looks like a moon. The reflections are mesmerizing.

It was great coming around the corner to that vision, I tell you! I’m glad you liked the moon. I’ve learned to always take a wider shot. It’s usually the best.
