Grasslands

We Are All Dressing in Our Finery Now and Waiting for the Feast

We are all just waiting now …

… waiting… waiting…waiting…

…turning around and waiting some more …… OK, sure, maybe getting a little impatient …

… and thin …

… maybe a little nervous and grumpy, sure …

… territorial even …

… even up to no darned good at all, really …

… but waiting…
… for the saskatoons …

… our lovely siya? …

… to ripen …

… and, yeah, we gotta wait, sure, but it’s hard …

… you know?

Yeah, you know.

  1. And I meant to say, there is something about the soft colors in your photographs that’s so appealing. It took a little getting used to, and now I love it. That second-to-last photo is especially beautiful.

    • Cool! The colours of the grassland are so soft, it does take getting used to, especially in contrast with contemporary image technology, which carries a punch to grab attention. I should do a blog with both side by side. That would be fun.
