Look at these guys!
Knapweed Root Weevils Going to Town

What if the weevils eat all the knapweed and then move onto something we like? Pest importation to control another invader is tricky…

About 5 years ago we had a very big problem with knapweed and a man from the University Extension service held a seminar on a ranch near here where they had done studies of the for about 15 years. As part of the seminar we collected a can full of the weevils and brought them home. Our knapweed is now almost completely gone. There have been no side effects at all.
